When designing the park, the creators of Deighton Creek had a vision of sustainable living.  They understood the importance of protecting our environment and strive to promote green building practices to reduce the impact of building on our environment.  That is why the designers of Deighton Creek park have chosen Triple M Housing as their manufactured home supplier.  

Triple M Housing is a member of the Built Green Society of Canada and is committed to reducing its carbon footprint on our planet.  Every home is manufactured in one area, indoors, allowing for maximal use of all material.  This means that there is less material being thrown away and also allows for efficient collection of wast material for recycling.

During the construction of your home, details such as screws and glue on wall boards, energy efficient windows as well as underbelly insulation ensure that the home is more energy efficient.  Also included in the price of your home are energy efficient appliances as well as low flush toilets to reduce water usage.  The community has been efficiently designed so that all rain water drains from the roof tops and streets is collected in our wonderfully landscaped pond.  The water is then used to irrigate and maintain the beautiful park gardens.  For those residence of Deighton Creek who wish to do their part to reduce their impact on the environment, a recycling center is on site to collect most non-refundable waste.
